It depends on what your doing with your tractor. Iv got a 32HP 4x4 and a 50HP 2x4. If your mowing grass you'll never need 4x4, unless your mowing in a swamp. However I use my 4x4 for box blading, pulling a small set of disc, etc.... Iv often herd if you buy a 4x4 you can reduce the size of your tractor by half.This would only be the pulling part though. I dont think I would go that far with it. You'll have to decide what your going to do with it more pull, or ride on the lawn? I can tell you that my 4x4 has weights and water and will hang neck in neck with my bigger 2x4 when plowing.
