I have talked to the man I bought the Fordson tractor off of since the original owner passed away. The man I bought the tractor off of said that the tractor was not original as was first said, that it had been repaired, and the front axle and wheels were off of a 1937 ford truck. They fit well and look the part. So at first glance I missed this. But on a good note the tractor is a 1924 Fordson it dose have the original radiator, (as I am told.) It dose have the boat tail fenders with the tool boxes in them and they were ordered with the tractor as an option, so it had to have been ordered late 1924 or early 1925 to be able to get the fenders and the optional belt pulley was ordered at the same time. As far as I can tell the fuel tank must have been replaced for the back of the tank reads, Ford Motor Company, Ltd. England. And these fuel tanks were not available untill 1928 from Cork Ireland or from 1932 when the plant in Dagenham, Essex, England started production. Since the model N Fordson did not appear untill 1928 in Cork, Ireland, my 1924 Fordson must be a model F, and by the S/N it was made in Michigan. Please if anyone can add to this or send me a correction I would appreciate it. I am still looking for proof that this is a model F.
