G.M.used a negative ground on vehicles in the 30' & 40's also they had another jewel, the #xx#, everloving polarity reversing switch, supposed to prolong the life of contact surfaces on the ignition by supposedly reversing the flow freom poss. to neg each time it cranked. The main thing it succeded in doing was driving people crazy when it gave problems!! Gene Davis
