ROPS is a great idea, but it's only as strong as the weakest part of it. Unfortunately, too many folks aren't capable of designing a decent one, will fasten the thing to the tractor with common grade 2 bolts, or never add a seatbelt to the arrangement. Tragedy will find a way to strike as long as people are careless, and sometimes even when they're trying to be careful. Too often we lose sight of the fact that tractors, like firearms, automobiles, and lots of other things in life, are inherently dangerous.
