Those were very common engines on all sorts of agricultural and industrial applications. Massey used them on tractors like their 101/102 Juniors, their 20,22,30. 81 and 82 models. They also showed up on the Case V, the Oliver 44 (I think), the Cockshutt 20 and 540, and lots of other stuff. Lincoln welders used them in countless numbers and they were also used in street sweepers, forklifts, etc. Basically, there were 3 basic sizes, the 124, 140, and 162 cubic inch versions. All three were identical except for the cylinder bore size. All three were the F400 series of block. Wis-Con (the new name) might be able to help out or try Lincoln welders, they'd still service lots of them. There were some oddball industrial sizes or versions too, very close in size to the above ones, maybe just one or two cubic inches different. There should be a tin plate on the left side of the engine that has one of those displacement numbers showing up. On the right side of the engine the F400 number should show up in the block casting itself.
