We have a tobacco and beef farm operation, relatively small compared to some. We do bale alot of hay and sell alot of hay every year. I have never used one of those frontend loader blades, but have considered one for our Case IH 885. I do know a fella that just purchased one for a larger IH tractor, but he hasn't had to use it yet. We have that case IH 885 4 wheel drive w/loader, a Case Ih 385, two farmall super C's, a IH 140, and a little john deere M. One of the C's and the little M are mine, just mainly for fooling around with. I have never used a snowblower, but I know they are expensive. The only downside I see to the blade on the loader is that it may not be as easy to see what you are doing as on a regular front mounted snow plow. I'm not sure what they sell for either. Depending on where you are, snowblowers have a decent resale value. If you get alot of snow, I think you would be better off with the snowblower, because the little kubota might have a tough time witha big snow because it's not very heavy. I can't remember, did you say your tractor is gear or a hydro? If it is a gear, make sure it will go slow enough w/the rpm's in the right position to run the blower. There was a fella on one of these boards not too long ago talking about his tractor going too fast for the blower, even in the lowest gear. good luck!
