I curious is to what is considered the "oddball" brand in your area. PLEASE NO COLOR WARS. I think 95% of the people on this board are sick of it. In my area Case tractors don't bring much(good for me cause' I like em') but, neither do MM's or MF's bring much. I have seen 7000 series AC's in very good shape bring $4,500-$7,000 Somebody said on the Case board that Case stands for (Can't Afford Something Else) I laughed but if I could afford the more expensive brands I still farm with Case. A lot of good tractor for the $._ Good Ford/NH, MF Case-IH deales less than 20 miles from me. The under 50 horse Ford's bring a lot but anyhting bigger than that is realatively cheap. It's nice to get a good deal but the resale value isn't too good. With enough aftermarket sources I would think that people would still buy these brands as much as JD,IH, exc.. Both OL and MM are considered ahead of there time by a lot of people.

The Day Mom Drove the 8N - by Brian Browning. My Dad was wanting to put in a garden but couldn't operate the 8N and handle the old horse drawn plow he had found and rigged up to use with the tractor. Well, he decided to go get Mom out of the house and have her drive the tractor while he walked behind the plow. You got to understand that while my Mom is a hard worker who will always help whenever she can... she had never operated farm machinery before that day. Dad got her out there, explained how the clutch was the same as in our o
