I wouldnt call it a very good show. Went last year and it was nothing at all to write home about. Went with a group of people and we had 4 dogs between us. All well mannered, friendly, no barking or anything like that. Took them on the dinner ride with us Thursday evening. Not a problem, the town of South Haven is over the top dog friendly. They can go in most of the stores, on the beach. Even onto the patios of some of the restaurants. Get back to the show later that night and one of the officials proceeds to chew us a new you know what because dogs are apparently not allowed to leave the camp site. Next morning, had the dogs out walking in front of the camper on the grass, still on our camp site mind you. And another show official does the same thing, proceeds to chew us out for having the dogs to far away from the camper even though we were within 15 feet of the awning at the time. It wasnt just us either, all weekend they were yelling at people for having dogs on golf carts and what not all around the show. Not bothering anybody, mostly just elderly couples and their companion pets. But it didnt stop there, like most shows you have people with tractors and equipment for sale. Well we just cant be having none of that. They were going around all weekend ripping for sale signs down and telling the people if they wanted to sell anything they had to buy a spot in the flea market. Friend had an Economy tractor for sale and they took his sign off 5 times before he finally gave up. Cant be doing any of these activities that are normal at any other show as long as you are being respectful to others. But on the other hand its perfectly ok to have kids and adults alike running around on garden tractors at full speed weaving in and out of groups of people, popping wheelies and doing doughnuts in the lanes. There was a guy driving around on a little narrow front Case that had a carry all on the three point with 3 people sitting in lawn chairs. Watched him dump all 3 people right off the back in front of our camp site because he was hauling the male down the lane and hit a pot hole. I could go on and on, worst show experience Ive ever had.
