Intersection trail Cam

Regarding the trail cam posts below: There is a 4-way intersection maybe 100 yards from our house. Two stop signs.
Since we moved here 12 or so years ago, there was one, maybe two accidents a year there.
By the way, this is a rural area, farms and subdivisions, 2-3 miles from town. I think the speed limit is 45-50 or there abouts.
That doesn't seem to mean anything. I want a set of those road spikes, that I can punch a button and they pop up!!
Last year there were four accidents. No one killed, but some injuries. One accident involved three vehicles.
Last night (July 4th) there was another around midnight. Young lady in a Subaru hit a P/U that ran the stop sign.
Not injured, seat belt on, her cell called the police for her. Totaled her car (doesn't take much anymore!!).
The P/U didn't even stop!! Judging from the pic's I saw of her car, there HAD to be some serious damage to the P/U!!
I cannot see the intersection from my house, as there is another house in the way. If I'm out in the front yard aways,
I can see it. So, I have a game cam I think I'm gonna put up in a tree on our property about 50-60 yards from the intersection.
I'm gonna have to play with it a bit, as there are bunches of traffic on the thru road. Not sure how long a chip will last
or if it will override the older pic's when full. I can't use a Ring Doorbell or wi-fi set up, as it would never shut off!!
Also, gonna call the county commissioner and chat about a 4-way stop. There is another intersection one mile away
on the thru road that is almost as bad. Our intersection has a large cottonwood tree and a small hill that doesn't help, the other intersection
is a nice clear one.
I don't profess to be the best driver in the world, but no accidents for many years. Most stop signs, I do a slow rolling stop
being prepared to stop if any doubt at all. This intersection, I STOP!!!
OK, my rant for the day. One reason I have concerns about the intersection is that we sometimes
haul silage through that intersection when cutting nearby.
Thanks for hearing me out!!

Today's Featured Article - Talk of the Town: The Saga of Grandpa's Tractor - by The following saga is from the Tractor Talk Discussion Forum. Someone. The saga starts with the following message: Hey guys I have a decision to make. I know what you all will probably suggest and it will probably agree with me way down inside, but here it is. I have a picture blown up and framed in my "tractor room" of a Farmall M. It was my Grandpa's tractor, of which whom I never got to meet. He froze to death getting this tractor out of the barn to pull a truck out of the ditch before I was born. Anyway my dad and aunt had to sell it at the auction, ... [Read Article]
