Thats great that your neighbor gave you a 44-6 Massey....I recently could have bought a decent one for $1,000...However,a decent 4020 JD with loader is worth $10,000-15,000....Now,if the guy that went down to pull the 4020 on the trailer told the owner right then and there that it's a $10,000 plus tractor and knowing that the owner says that I'll still let you have it for $1,000 or whatever rather than haul it to the scrap yard....Then,I guess thats his business so the owner must be wealthy and doesnt need the money very bad....None of that was ever mentioned..

I own quite a few tractors....My wife recently had some cancer cut out and is getting dementia...She cant remember what I paid for any of the tractors and 5 seconds after I tell her what they are worth its all gone...If I made a list up she couldn't find it...If I were to suddenly pass I can see people coming here before I'm even cold and offering her $500 for a $5,000 tractor and her accepting it..Then they would have to get on here and brag about it..If that happens I''ll come back from the grave..

About 10-15 years ago a farmer passed that had a 3600 hour 1206 Farmall used on 320 acres..Everyone was awaiting the sale only to find out that someone talked the heirs in to selling the 1206 and all the other machinery-etc for about half what it was all worth...It was all gone in a couple of days..

I've been on here for 25 years and its time to leave..Its not the same place it was 15 years ago and it makes far to mad..So,if this is an airport I'm announcing my departure..It used to be fun but no more.
