Well, Cat guy how about a few real facts instead of "alternative facts" from the posters on line? Yes our current adminstration denied a few permits on certain public lands, but more drilling permits were approved in the first year of the current administration than during his predecessor's first 365 days. The current administration approved 3,557 permits for oil and gas drilling on public lands last year, compared to the prior administration's first-year total of 2,658. Despite it being explained here many times I know that the concept of how fuel pricing is set is a complicated one and apparently difficult to understand. The objective in releasing fuel reserves was to LOWER PRICES not to funnel more to US pumps. Prices are set at a few public market places exactly the same as US farm commodities are set. Google "Brent crude" if you want a detailed explanation. It makes absolutely no difference to world pricing where the fuel is used. If you want your government to be telling business what to sell their product for maybe you should go live in another country.
