they can work their way through some mud. As a kid our chopper tractor was a Case 800 and one fall it was so wet the wagons were getting pulled through the field on their beams, the tires couldn't touch the bottoms of the ruts. we had the neighbors Allis 170 chained on the front of the 800 for a while but dad finally reached the end of his patience and rented a 2090 from the local dealer...Wow was that a nice tractor
