I posted this in implements as well, but not getting any replies. I purchased a planter and the seller kept his Precision Planting 20/20 monitor. Is the 37 pin connector from this planter that connected to his Precision Planting monitor going to work on the monitors I all ready have? I have Kinze 1000 and 2000 monitors which are Dickeyjohn and a John Deere 300 ComputerTrac Monitor. What I have learned is that Dickeyjohn monitors and John Deere branded monitors powered the harness/seed sensors a little different by putting the + and - power to different pins. An adaptor can be purchased to make them all work together. If some one could tell me that a Precision Planting monitor uses the same or different power pins as either an old Dickeyjohn/Kinze or a John Deere monitor that would help. The seed tubes on this planter are the Dickeyjohn traditional light sensors but are the 3 bulb high rate. Thanks for the help.
