What reasonable to expect? The tire dealer says these are not new condition.
I purchased (2) 38-12 6 rail Power Adjust rims from a dealer (not dealership) and just received them.
Since this merchant sells new and used parts, I was told these were new, were painted Silver Mist on both the inside and outside. Both of the wheels I received have faded paint and long rust stains on the exterior side, primer and rust on the tube sides, and the lips have no paint and are heavily pitted because they have been rolled on the concrete and gravel. There are large scratches exposing bare metal on the exterior sides of the rims. These Titan rims are stamped with a code that includes 00.
The merchant says that condition does not matter, unmounted means new, buy a can of paint and get over it. Or I can pay for shipping again and return them.
At $500 per wheel (before shipping), what should I expect? Ill use these for mowing flat ground. The tractor will be stored outdoors, uncovered.
