I may be a bit late getting into this, but another thought that I had was about what constitutes fuel. Most coniferous trees like spruce, Douglas fir, and the like contain a lot of resin that is quite flammable whether they are dry or not. The same goes for some other trees like white birch as another example. These trees will burn wet or dry, warm or cold. I expected to have them mentioned as well as a contributor to the fuel side of the triangle.
