I hear you. To many trucking companies out there offer you every night home blah blah blah. once you drive 6 months for them, then can you do this long haul for me?. if you give an inch they take a mile. I know they plan it that way as I've been there before. Money in there pocket is all that maters. I have a used to be friend that stated with a couple trucks and was real good and happy to make a living. Then the money went to his head and now has a dozen or more and nobody gets weekends off anymore. The drivers get paid the same as 15 years ago but he drives around in his brand new pickups going for coffee and acting like the best Christian around. He completely lost the concept of do to others as you would have them do to you. When he had 2-4 trucks he was the best guy to drive for as he wanted his drivers to have a family life. Now he wants them on the road 7 days a week and maybe home 2 days a month. I just can't be buddies with someone like that
