It actually peaked at 170 hp and 5000 lbs ft of torque. 1.5 million to build this replica and 4000 man hours. Original was built in 1904 and scrapped in 1918. All but the boiler. Production # was 14666. The 4 engines it pulled were on a 13% grade and almost 58,000 lbs. Was built originally for a copper mine in N. M. 55 mile trip pulling wagons loaded with copper. Gears wore out fast due to soft metal. After an accident it powered a saw mill until the copper ran out. Case built 9 of them between 1904 and 1907.
