Hello every one i have a 1951 farmall super c that is not charging. I rebuilt the generator ( New armature fields bearings brushes and terminals.) I also put a new four position light switch in it and a 2 terminal cut out relay. and a new amp gauge. The generator is the Delco Remy three brush style with the adjustable third brush. The tractor will not charge the battery. when i pull out the ignition switch it shows a little negative movement on the gauge. once i start the tractor the gauge just stays on the negative side of the meter. if i charge the battery in the morning and run the tractor all day then go to start it up again the battery is 100 percent dead. i do not no what this could be or why it is doing it. The tractor is a good tractor and starts first crank with a hand crank in any weather i do not no how to fix the charging system. Any thing Helps thanks.
