Ben and Dwayne, Good to hear you guys are doing well. Ben, I’m surprised they had you self isolate for 14 days back then... and you weren’t even out of the country. They are starting to ask us health questions when we get on the ferry now... along with the reduced sailings. As a farmer, we are considered essential so it’s no problem getting around to my other farm at my parents place in Richmond but I try to stay away from everyone as much as possible best of times. I just have some pipes to repair and herbicide to get on so good work alone.
My kids are a little ahead of the game for school. My daughter does online learning all the time so she it’s regular days for her. She dances competitively so that training is all canceled but they have online dance now too so she dancing still 2-3 hrs a day with various groups through Zoom media. My son is in grade 4, they are still trying to figure out what to do with them, but my wife is a teacher anyway and she has him doing extra work regardless. He does miss his friends but he can help me out a bit... he like helping out on the old lawnmower and driving the gator with me.
Warm day here today finally. Things have greened up a lot but we’ve had a very cool damp few weeks. I sanded my first cranberry field yesterday and today... just one little incident. No damage and nobody hurt or in danger.
