Yesterday I asked KcmMN why he was up so early posting pictures. Well some of my friends then asked why I was up. I had found a belly mount sickle mower for the Farmall A my dad bought. Guy wanted $100. He also had parts for the fan, and a friend with farmall parts. He also had a Allis Chalmers sickle mower that a friend of mine here wanted. So we got up early and began our 517 mile round trip to central GA. We also picked up a nice round bale of horse hay for a friend. Cant find any decent hay for 100+ miles around here because of the drought last summer. We left home at 4:30 am and got back nearly 8 pm. Going over we went up and hit I-20 east through Atlanta....... Coming home we went through Macon and Columbus GA. Then hit Hwy 280 in Opelika Al. The first guy took us to his friend's place ---"the Farmall guy". Wow!!! Walked around for a couple hours and didn't see every thing. I did buy new old stock brakes for the A. A nice screen grill for the cub. And he gave me a new old stock pit man rod for my mower. The friend who bought the Allis mower has been looking for an IH 2 point mower and this guy had one! It's on the trailer!. Of course I found the only Ford thing on the property. What a clean owners manual! My wife and I are making plans to go back. He has a few more things we need..

Dog and boys were good! Did I mention the first guy gave me a Ford hay wagon frame? That was a nice surprise and will look awesome with our Fords
