I believe the G and GM are basically the same. Seems I read in the reen magazine that Deere came out with the GM during war yers so they could raise the price, was a new model designation and they couldn't raise the price on the old ones. Think a wide front was available on the G but not many out there. I would think the A wide front would come close to the G but think the B would be too small.
