never tried it, but a friend told me that loosening the lug nuts a turn or so, applying plenty of WD-40 or Kroil, and driving the tractor a little usually frees things up. Just pay attention to what is happening, once it is free, you don't want to go far. The same friend told me that he always puts anti-seize compound on the end of the axle before he puts it on... guess he probably has had to take a stuborn one off once or twice and doesn't want to make it hard the second time around on the same wheel.
