I received an email on the weekend from somewhere unknown that had an attatchment. When I single clicked on it, the Norton alarm system went off (it was a virus called W32.Badtrans.B@mm). I walked through the Norton steps to quarantine it, then I went into the quarantine section of Norton and deleted it. Problem is, the email with attatchment was still in my inbox. Repeated that a few times with the same result. Then, I started again going through the Norton system of deleting it directly through their choices and it went to my delete email file. Walked through it again and the Norton system says it's deleted but it has stayed in my delete email file. It just will not leave. The email has not been opened with a double click, nor has the attatchment. Any suggestions for getting rid of it? I have Windows 98 in my machine. A friend says that there should be someway of choosing to empty the whole delete folder at once by doing something different that one message at a time, does this make sense?
