Hi Bernhard, I see you post over and over against compact tractors from Japan ect.. If i remember right, you have never owned one, and i think you said there are very few where you live. It seems to me, you should try one before posting against them so much. I have several tractors on my farm includeing Agco Allis, Case, JD, AC, IH, and i even have one Kubota left. (i've owned a couple other Kubota's too) The tractors from Japan for the most part are pretty good tractors, "if" used for light and some medium duty service. There's NO WAY i'd trade my Kubota for a like size older American tractor for what i use my Kubota for. The new compacts are so much nicer to run, there's NO compareing them to an older non Asian design i don't care where it was made!! There are times when my Kubota will do a job that an older heavier tractor just won't do, like when i use a rotary cutter on some of my wet ground to keep the brush and weeds down! I know, because i've tried both. "If" you use a compact tractor for what it was designed for, many times it will do the job much better than an older American tractor!! Robert

It is also very apparent that these folks are getting a lot of very poor and often very dangerous advice fro
