The trusses are rated for a 48lb. snow load per. sq. ft. If I could spread the weight out a little I could! The differents between 2x4s and 2x6s is not much more and they are a lot stronger too. 2 ft. centers and you use less of them. It is not insulated but it stays warmer inside then out I have a overhead Infered heater for the colder days and a Mr. Heater to keep me from freezing. I might put a wood stove in but I don't want to loose the room. This is a fun project to do for a Electrician by trade, I watched the the other trades and it did not look hard if you measure twice cut once and make sure it is SQUARE or it will be a hard project the rest of the job trying to compinsate for it. My roof was off 1/8" corner to corner! As far as those tires the skinny ones get better traction but these don't tear up as much and I like the look too. You can go in deep snow and you float on it. PS They came with the $500.00 tractor looking the way it dose with a small hole in the block (that cost 300.00 to fix with another block!) I changed the exhaust to up was tired of snow plugging it and it realy dose not smell any different but it is braced real good so my manifold won't break. Mark H.
