Ok fair enough, some one talking to you face to face on the farm isn't gonna work for some folks. Also I wasn't suggesting there be any Government involment, we are miles away from that. People do stupied stuff, all the time, and yes you do learn from your mistakes if your lucky to survive. But ask your self this how many of us would get any thing outa sitting in a "farm Safety" work shop on a saturday morning??? Chances are the info goes in one ear and out the other.

I don't need to follow you around all day long To find out if you operate equipment safly, if your equipment is safe or any other thing. All I have to do is look at shoe's, Are they steel toed, look at ur face, got safty glasses and ear protection???. Might walk around ur yard look at your tractor, kick the tires to see if there not coming off.

You are either a safe operator or your a risk taker, and thats written all over your face and your farm yard.

Let me ask you this, would there be a problem with say a neghbour coming over to your palce, and lookin over your operation, how things are done and how you do it. At the end of there tour, ask them if they notice any thing unsafe, outa place.

YOU can be so wrapped up in your own time and space and not notice the little thing going wrong that could turn into a disaster,( case in point( The post down below where the guy pulled the rops off his skidsteer to get out faster, if his neighbour had of said to him "thats realy stupied, put the rops back on or you might hurt your self" he would still be here today.

A Friendly second opion could save the day, thats the only point im trying to get across
