What model? If it is a TO35, e.g., with Continental Z134 engine, you can check it with a timing light thru hole to flywheel. Your manual should tell you. If you don't have a manual you can buy one at MF dealer or via link on left side of this page. If that isn't your model, and if you want to be more specific, perhaps someone will help, but I'd advise you to get a manual in any event.
