The Beetle tractor is a 2000 lb. crawler made by Wester Gear Works, Seattle WA between 1944-48. It has a 4 cyl Waukesha engine (ICK series), 3 spd transmission, seperate forward/reverse clutches, and a hydraulic dozer. This machine was the precursor of the Clarkair Tractor (both of which were designed by T. P. Flynn of the USFS Equipment Development Lab in Portland, Oregon 1938- 1950) I would be interested in ANYONE with ANY information on the Beetle or the Clarkair.
