I rolled the field today that I posted about three days ago. 32 bales from 4 acres. These are 5×4 from a NH 845. Maybe 800 lbs each? That's 3.2 tons per acre. That's pretty dang good for me. I usually just bale unfertilized prairie hay at less than 1 ton per acre. The remnants of hurricane Barry are heading here. It acted stormy all day, threatened a rain storm several times. Glad it's rolled.
