Gee whiz, did you know that the motor mounts on a small block Chev bolt right up to a big block? So, umm, anyplace a small block fits plus a little spare room, a big block drops right in. I know somebody who put a .030 over 454 in his '77 Camaro where the 350 used to live. Dropped almost 3 seconds through the quarter mile and added 20 mph to the trap speed. All on just under 8:1 compression ratio. Plenty of opportunity for more power, too...
