Allan, Sorry to see that happening, but it's real common with new ground. One of my neighbors broke up some CRP last year and it looked unbelievable early with what moisture we had but when the moisture quti it went south fast-I mean literally over night. Dry land wheat and "hot" ground are poor combination with out the moisture. I usually plant 55-57 lbs. w/14" drill. Have a quarter of CRP that comes out in 2 years, good land so may break it out-kinda dreading it cause of what your goin thru. Just keep up the ole farmers creed-"Oh well, there's always next year".
