I guess you could leave it untill spring, or you could have made some compaction with a "real" plow and disc, OR, you could have used a Rotavator in the first place and not had any of the problems you now have. You still can Rotavate it, and there won't be any clumps left to deal with. I can't tell you how many acres i've Rotavated for farmers who have the whole gambit of tools that they could have used. New or tough ground begs for a Rotavator, and some one who knows how to set it for YOUR conditions. I usually Rotavate at the rate of two acres per hour, but in some conditions you need to go faster or a little slower. You can see one in action in the below pictures. Robert
