I didn't think I was cutting corners. I am trying to use my truck legally. Most people I talk with say to go the farm truck route. I want to be able to haul my projects anywhere without having to worry about having my "papers in order" as if I was driving thru a Soviet state. Or doing some minor infraction of interstate commerce without even knowing it. If I understand it right, the route you went, you cannot travel to other states without buying IFTA authority? (the ICC sticker?) Is that about $800.00? The authority has to be built up over several years, or you have to go through a broker, as I understand the ICC rules. I completely agree about the hauling ability, that's why I went this route. thanks for the reply
