I have a 2000 GMC dually diesel 4x4, and a friend has same truck with a 454 (7.4l). Basically, he can pull the same stuff, the difference is that where my diesel is just pulling up a load at low RPM, his gasser is screamin'. It's not the power that means the difference between diesel/gas, it's the torque, and the torque/power rise and rpm's
