When you stretch the 250 hours over a long period of time, like 5 years, you might want to change the oil like say every year or every other year. It's kind of your choice but if you wait 5 years you could have some condensation build up in the crankcase and what have ya. You should be able to get oil changing supplies at your local MF dealership. You might do some checking around though becuase you might be able to pick up the supplies cheaper at say a Napa, Wallmart, or your local parts store, not sure what you have for other stores in your area. The weight and brand of oil should be listed in your manuel or maybe on a decal on the tractor. There should be a name and parts number on the filter. Get one just like it and it will work. If you switch to a different brand of filter you will have to look at a cross reference becuase the parts number won't be the same.
