One fellow posted on this site that he never sharpens his blades. Idea is if you're cutting small brush, the tops of the little stumps are soft and splintered and won't puncture tractor tires or animal hooves/feet. Mine are pretty dull and still cut grass and brush just fine. It's a thought.
