I think You mean Porsche tractors. Prof. Porsche (the same one who builts the Porsche sportscars like 911 an so on started to construct tractors before ww.2) After the war they were named "Allgaier, System Porsche" they built tractors till 1955, that year Allgaier decided to stop production, because they have no money to built up more capacity. 1955 the Mannesmann AG started production of Porsche tractors, with own Diesel-engines, aircooled, Porsche had been 0ne of the 10 biggest tractor manufacturers in Germany HP class from 12 to 50 HP/DIN names like "junior", "Master", "Standard Star", "Super".In 1964 Porsche -Diesel-Motorenbau stopped producing tractors. Renault took over the dealership, and the Spare-part sale, a few years, renault tractors in germany will be named like porsches. I can look for further informations if You want, or search in the german net under "Porsche-Diesel" or "Porsche Traktoren", one website where You can find Links:www.ackerkralle.de Don't hesitate to ask me for further Informations Rgds Bernhard PS.: I have a friend in the Netherlands, who is a collector of Porsche tractors, Years ago I own a "Junior", 14HP/DIN. What Type is Your tractor?
