How did you like paying 5 (or 7 or 9) dollars a gallon to top up your tank? Especially knowing that the next day you would be able to buy gas at a more reasonable price somewhere else. Or did you, in your "strategy" to keep your tank full, only have to drive to the station to put in a little over a PINT!, thus not costing you more than a couple of dollars? Its idiots like you that create emergencies out of nothing. I bet you still have toilet paper that you bought in the mid seventies when they said there was going to be a toilet shortage!!
