I never ran an Allis, but I have seen them at the local tractor pull. Every one here seems to be mentioning the snap-coupler plows, although Shaw said he was pulling a set of 3x OLIVER TRAILER PLOWS, I don't believe the traction booster works with a set of trailer plows being pulled off a drawbar(don't quote me on this!). I know at least in my area a heavier tractor(like a JD 60) would have better luck pulling a trailer plow than a lighter tractor with more power(Allis). I did run a neighbors 60 with a set of Oliver trailers one year, and boy, that 60 worked well(Yes, I am a RED guy). I also plowed in the same field with other guys that had 620's with 3pt 3x JD plows and I could lap them every other round. I am a little bias but I think experience is more important than the tractor plow set-up, I out plowed a 5 bottom CASE tractor(don't remember the model) with my SM-TA with 3-14's, the guy with the CASE also had 3-14's!
