My 1977 Long 360 has the same basic engine as does your tractor. The original filter was larger than any that I have used since. I use the Fram PH-8- maybe they now have an "A" on the end of the number. Ford cars and trucks used the same filter for many years. Mine has always been slow to build pressure. For that reason, I start it at idle speed to lessen the load on the bearings. There is a person called "Geo" who posts here that gives good advice on the Longs. If he advises you, take that advice as the best you will get. If he does not post here, repeat the question on "Today's Tractors" and on "Orphans and oddballs". Good luck.
