It must be the Green Paint. I have an H Farmall, 1050 JD and a 574 IH all parked within fifty feet of each other and only the JD attracts wasps. In my case it is those lovely yellow and black striped ones. I was changing the hydraulic filter this summer and turned my head to see a nest about 3 inches in diameter about 8 inches from my face. I slid out from under the tractor very slowly with tightly clenched cheeks if you know what I mean. They also love to hide in the arms of my front-end loader(on the 1050). They don't usually show their face until you are in the middle of doing something where you can't get off. I just started spraying some WD-40 inside the tubes if there was any hint they were in there.
