I had the owner of the Dealership here today. Actions are:
1. Get meter upgraded ASAP, to small for my loads under experienced conditions. Maybe we'll have some cold weather to test it. 2. 1/2" line to the house is good to 189,000 btu/hr, I need 80,000 for the house. The inside steel pipe was 1/2" also. 2 PSI at meter and regulated down to 3-5" W.C. at the furnace. 3. Correct, that Stainless Steel line is not outdoor rated. Dealer to come and put mechanical protection over the line above ground. 4. The heat exchanger and inducer fan drains should be fine, not an issue with Natural Gas on the Trane XV95. 5. Get prepared for Gas and Electrical Outages. a. Get Generator JD 3320 Compact Tractor, or bigger like 2510/2520. Review Generator Harmonic Content. b. Install transfer switch for everyone's safety. c. Get a couple electric space heaters to heat house when no Natural Gas is available, or use oven and window fan. 6. I would add pray the Gas Company keeps it's pressures up but I am pretty sure we demonstrated that is not a guarantee.
