Hi Kermit, all i know about dodge is what i've heard so,,grain of salt. i purchse a truck about every decade or so, i take my time and look around. i think dodge is the best looking truck on the road. i wanted a 3/4 ton. the last dozen or so people that were owners of dodges that i talked to were not satisfied. some i asked almost went ballistic. seems in most cases the problems were not so bad as how they were handled at the dealer (so it may be a local problem). transmissions where at the top of the list. after seeing a F250 with 386K miles on it, (the fuel injector pump was the only major replacement), i went ford , with the IH diesel engine. of all places, i found the truck i wanted on the net (autotrader.com and i checked everything i was interested in with autofax.com) the autofax gives you information the dealer or individual would never freely give you. it gives you some (or alot) of leverage when dealing. sorry to run on.
