Well I called my Uncle and he confirmed it was the patent on "wax free oil" Texaco wanted. The prosses was to run the oil through refrigerated pipes and the parrafin would stick to the walls of the pipe. they would then just clean out the pipe.pretty simple prosses. The guy who owned Indian refining was apparantly quite the gambler and got into money trouble when Texaco bought the place. As Far as the Movie went it was called "Buckshot goes to the fair" and was part of the Texaco Farm Market Program. It was done in the early 50s."Buckshot" was a hog that came from a neigbours farm as we didn't have hogs at that time. The Indiana State Fair was celebrating the 125th anniversary the year they did the film and Texaco wanted the extra publicity from that event. They picked our family farm to shoot the picture because my Uncle worked for Texaco and the farm was not too far from the State Fairgrounds.
