There are no safety shut offs on a Long 560. Once engine starts it will keep running till there is no fuel, something breaks or you shut it off. One problem that most Longs have, is the fuel line that connects on the fuel pump via banjo fitting, sometimes clog. Nearly always the one coming from the fuel tank.
