: : : I am trying to find a way to add power steering : : : or power assist steering to this tractor. If : : : anyone has any suggestions please e-mail me. : : : Thanks : : Trade it in on a MF-135. : I agree on the 135. If it's not in your budget, buy a set of weights and strengthen your upper body. : : Gerald Or find a bus steering wheel and adapt it to the 8N for more leverage. If its hard to steer because of a loader, go to wider wagon (near smooth, not deeply ribbed) tires on the front so they don't dig into the ground. On my MF-135 with loader and PS I went to 11L-16 which helped a great deal. Tractor makers have often put front tires way too narrow for more positive steering in loose dirt but that pack and dig trenches to make for really tough steering while the loader is loaded. Or for about the same price as a MF-135 look for a JD3020 or 4020. Its power steering (full hydraulic, not power assist) makes the MF-135 with power steering feel like manual steering! Gerald
