My one suggestion would be to drive the pump RPM as fast as possible - the Char-Lynn needs higher flow rate than a typical car PS requires. Fred, depending on which unit you have (s-101 or s-102) you need 2.5 to 3 gpm for the s-101 the s-102 needs 3 to 4 gpm both at a max pressure of 1000 psi. the unit # is stamped on end toward steering wheel.
