I don't believe the different size rear tires will cause your tractor to jump out of 5th gear. The differential will make up for the tire size difference. I would get the tires the same size before running the tractor too far, or you will have differential problems. You probably have a worn shift sleeve in the transmission. This is very common in this tractor. it can be fixed, but the transmission has to be at least partially disassembled. Get a manual, get some help, parts are heavy. Good luck. Doc
