I know there are other threads like this so I hope this isn't totally unwelcome but I am new to tractors and looking for some opinions.
My wife and I are buying her grandpa's property, 19 acres of mostly woods. I am looking for a utility tractor with a loader mostly for brush hogging, driveway maintenance and general utility work, moving firewood, etc. I found 2 nearby I am interested in looking at and wanted to see if those with more experience might have strong opinions or advice before I even bother driving and hour to go look at them. They are in opposite directions and private sales so it's not a decision of dealer or anything. And I could get parts for both locally.
Tractor 1 is a Ford 2110, 2WD with a 776B loader. 2700 hours. Looks a little rough in the photos but complete and not abused, just used. A little rustier but not rotting apart.
Tractor 2 is a Kubota L345 with a 1720 loader. 1500 hours and looks pretty clean. It comes with a york rake also.
Both tractors are 2wd and about the same HP, same features and roughly the same price. I think the Ford is a little heavier which I feel like I'd want in 2wd, but that is just from a little internet research, and I get conflicting results on just how much heavier it might be.
I guess what I am looking to know is even though the Ford has more hours is it more tractor even though it's similar HP? I don't mind if it's a little ugly and he's actually asking a few hundred less than the Kubota so if it's a better tractor I would go with the uglier machine.
