: Hey guys. New to this site. I was wanting some people to speak up and give me there opinions. I found a AC WD-45 for sale yesterday. Thsi wil be my first tractor of my own, if i would buy it. I was told its a late 40's model, like 49 he thought. It has better than average tires, decent paint, a 2 or 3 point hitch, a trip loader, good hydraulics, has good sheet metal. The guys was asking $1500 for it, but recently came down to $1250. Based on what i have told you, do this sound like a fair price?? : thanks in advance Ask Harrell Sellers and Fred Witke on the AC board. http://www.dstratton.com/allis/wwwboard/multipage1.html If its working it sounds to me like a reasonable price, but I don't think much of a trip bucket loader. I had one on an 8N once and it was useless for snow because snow wasn't heavy enough to tip it. And having hydraulics on the loader bucket and double acting cylinders on the loader arms sure helps get me out of trouble in snow and tile blowouts. Gerald
